An Interactive Digital Library for Sex and Gender Specific Women's Health Education Resources
Advancing Women’s Health aims to identify, organize and share teaching materials and educational resources that address sex and gender differences in medical care. The aim is to make these resources universally accessible to clinicians, medical faculty, med students, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals so that known Sex and Gender influences will become integrated into all levels of womens medical education and incorporated into clinical practice.
This is a project of the Women’s Health Working Group-- comprised of leaders from the top medical institutions, including the American Medical Women’s Association and the American College of Women’s Health Physicians -- whose mission is to improve women's health by recognizing the biopsychosocial implications that affect women and applying evidence based data to deliver optimum care.
