I went to dinner the other night with a group of friends, including my friend John who’s also a Type 1. As most diabetic dudes know, finding a place to carry all of your devices without using a man-purse can be quite the challenge, and John often ends up setting down his electronics in a pile on the table/bar/couch/wherever we’re hanging out (or I’ve been told, in his wife’s purse, bless her heart). John is on the same system of devices I am – DexCom, OmniPod, and we both have iPhones. When he set his gear down at dinner the other night, I couldn’t resist retrieving mine from my purse to build a matching tower of diabetes and communication devices. What a bizarre, funny little club we’re a part of. :)

The Diabetes/electro-Pancreas towers, with Dex’s in their respective cases and a salad in the background for good diabetes measure.

Being pumpless, I feel like I’m still on MySpace, while everyone else has moved on to Facebook.

No Tim! it’s ok if it works for you! But, don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever want a little pump advice :)
