I know I’ve been low in some weird places. In a kayak. During a presentation. In the ring during a karate match, to name a few. So it should only make sense that I keep GU packs with me at all times – you never want to be without something to get you out of a bad low, EVEN when you’re doing laundy…or if you’re in the laundry…which I certainly hope never happens to anyone.
Seriously though, this cracked me up. Imagine my surprise when I opened the dryer door and saw a GU pack? First of all, I’m downright impressed that this thing didn’t pop open while being tumbled around in all that heat. Can you imagine that mess? Second of all, I don’t know how I forgot to take that pack out of my running shorts. And third, can I still eat this one? It was really warm when I took it out of the laundry, but hey, those things are expensive!
Diabetes, you sure do follow me everywhere.

Sign in nowThat’s funny. I’ve left some weird stuff in the laundry but never glucose supplies. (Yet!)
That is by far the best flavor.
Ha! it’s usually test strips I see in the laundry
Never tried GU packs, are they just as effective as tabs?
They are Gerry! I love the GU packs and they taste way better than the tabs. Try the chocolate outrage flavor – I bet Miranda will like them! They also have some fruity flavors too if she likes that better.
Haha! I found a Gu pack in the washing machine a couple weeks ago.
Oh gosh! I don’t even want to think of the dryer cleaning process if that thing had opened!
