My friend, who is undergoing breast cancer treatment, and I were just talking about this yesterday. We heard about the study that says that soy can inhibit fertility and we were concerned about the effects that it may have with her treatment. I’m glad I came across this article in my searching, it is a relief to find there isn’t a concern.

I’m so glad I could be of help. Make sure she knows about how important exercise is. 30 minutes, 4 times per week (walking briskly is perfectly fine) reduces mortality by 50%!! More patients should know about this, so please make sure she knows. Kind regards, KTR

I’m just a folksinger, Kathleen, but I’m ripshit about Komen’s non-funding of Tuohy’s research, and I’m ready to make a glorious noise about it. Unless Vince is holding out for outrageous royalties, there’s no conceivable excuse. I’m also a radio host in the New York metro area at WPKN-FM, and a loudmouth hothead friend of people in politics and medicine and journalism. I heard somewhere he’s seeking $17 million for human trials. If no one else ponies up, it’s you and me, kid, and I for one know we can do it. In a heartbeat.

Indeed, we can. According to complexity theory, it only takes 2 individuals with a shared goal to move a randomly organized group toward the goal. I’ve been looking for a partner. Let’s do it. I talk to Vince regularly; he’s not looking for royalties or big money. I think $6 million to start would put on well on track to the goal. I’d like another few million for research on the virus – see my website for ALL about that … Let’s talk when you have a chance, shall we? Kathleen
