The "post hoc, ergo propter hoc" anti-Gardasil crowd have started in France as well, although so far it's just a request for indemnity. Of the two girls concerned, one developed what may be (my medical French isn't too not) recurrent Guillain-Barré 6 whole months after vaccination, the other suffers from headaches and stomach cramps, apparently.

The lawyer involved is the same one who represented the civil action plaintiffs in the Mediator scandal (a classic and tragic case of politicians overruling scientific and medical advice to "preserve local jobs"), and he appears to have bought heavily into the antivax bandwagon. I'm sure his heart is in the right place, I just wish his brain was.
