I have written about the history and dangers of mercury in Dentistry in a number of my past blogs and therefore I am extremely excited to hear that Dr. Mercola and the Consumers for Dental Choice organization have declared this week;  Mercury-Free Dentistry Awareness Week.

I urge you to help spread the word and help educate others by sharing the following poster with your social networks. Together, we can END the use of toxic mercury in dentistry.

Until next time,

Kathleen

I am fortunate in that I have never had a filling, however I am wondering what the best filling material is these days? I’m talking basic materials (not gold).
Why they ever decided Mercury is beyond me!

Many thanks for your comments Ash ,and I must say, what a blessing that you have never had to have a filling! My advice with regard to filling materials is to have EAV testing http://besthealth.com.au/eav-explained/or blood testing to determine which dental materials are biocompatible with your body. I am actually in the process of having an asymptomatic root canal treated tooth removed and determining through blood work done through BioComp Labs (US) http://www.shslab.com/ the best materials to replace it with.

Believe it or not, I think in many ways; from quality of the restoration and effect on the surrounding tissues/ overall health, that gold really is a great filling material, however, it doesn’t look great to most of us!

    In Health,

    Kathleen
