Can you believe the Chicago Midwinter Meeting is only two weeks away? It seems as though 2012 is flying by, but in this instance, we’re glad February 22 is coming fast! The Chicago Midwinter Meeting is huge, and we love the fact that the meeting always kicks off with a great, charitable event. This year marks Oral Health America’s 22nd Annual Gala & Benefit: Impacting America’s Smiles, which will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Navy Pier. You can click through the button above to learn more about this fantastic evening that dental professionals always look forward to.

As for the exhibit itself, there will be a number of new products featured at the DentalEZ® booth #1405, February 23 – 25. We’ll be introducing a NEW family of high-speed handpieces, which will be featured in a Dentalcompare video from the show floor- so stay tuned!

Our EverLight LED Operatory Light and Identafi Oral Cancer Screening Device with both be included in Dr Paul Feuerstein’s workshop “Technology Products for Your Practice: Up Close and Personal”. Sign up now for this exciting CE course (course code C107 ) that features an overview of the latest high-tech products.

Senior Product Managers Aggie Pennington & Rick Gross will present an ADAA (American Dental Assistants Association) roundtable February 24 from 1:30pm-4:30pm. Aggie will be discussing ergonomics in the operatory, and Rick will be focusing on handpiece maintenance best practices. Make sure to sign up soon, registration ends February 18! Hope to see you all there.

While you’re in Chicago, don’t forget about the lab events! Our NevinLabs™ brand will be showcased at Cal-Lab, Feb 23-24, with a presentation of our custom lab work. In addition, make sure to check out LabDay Feb 24-25. Our new lab bench, the ErgoEZ™, will be on display, along with our LabPro™ handpiece.

It’s seldom that we get a chance to spend some time exploring different cities when we travel, but when the opportunity presents itself, we always take advantage of it! In Chicago, we try to make some time for ice skating at Millennium Park or to see some of the breathtaking views from the Skydeck. What are your favorite Chicago hot spots?
