“s/p” is a commonly used shorthand in medical records for “status post”, meaning that the patient’s current status is impacted by a significant condition or procedure in their medical history. For example, “s/p tumor excision 5 years ago” would indicate that a tumor was surgically removed 5 years previously. Although knowledge of the context in which it was used would allow a more definitive answer, “s/p tumor” probably refers to the fact that the patient’s current condition is impacted by a tumor that was discovered at some earlier time rather than referring to a particular type of tumor. http://www.courses.ahc.umn.edu/pharmacy/5822/Glossary.pdf
