Can breast cancer be linked to vitamin and mineral deficiency?

    I'm not convinced that vitamins and minerals -- although healthy to have in one's diet -- relates to breast cancer. I had sufficient vitamins and minerals and still got the disease. Incidentally, I think the reason the rates of breast cancer might be greater in the Northeast and urban areas is because these geographic regions have greater populations, thereby increasing the chances of breast cancer occurrences. And I'm not so sure about the breast cancer rates being tied to certain regions of the US.
