In terms of first aid/surgical management I wouldn't be able to tell you.
However, from a pharmacotherapeutic view, nimodipine (a calcium channel blocker) has been used. It aids by stopping muscle spasming in that area as well, as blood flow resulting from secondary ischaemia. Other drugs from this class are typically used for hypertension however it appears that nimodipine has a better affinity to the CNS.
