Pain in the ball and arch of both feet over last 6-8 weeks
Over the last 6-8 weeks I have developed pain in the ball and arch of both feet. The heels do not hurt. It is worse when I arise at night or in the morning and after I have been sitting for awhile. After I am up and going it seems to improve. Orthotic inserts supporting the arch have not helped. Any further suggestions?

answered May 29 at 07:45AMI am not an expert of the foot, but I understand this is a very common problem treated by podiatrists. You may want to make an appointment for an evaluation as they may have some simple answers. Also, diseases like diabetes can be associated with foot pain so it is important to be checked for this reason, also.
