What are the best results that any one has had getting rid of c-diff?

    For severe refractory cases, it is usually best to provide an extended course of vancomycin with a taper at the end. Though not necessarily supported by data, I also tend to give people probiotics such as lactobacillus acidophilus, and/or have them eat yogurt. If that doesn't work, there appears to be some good data behind fecal transplants, although I have not seen it done personally.
