Without additional therapy, 60% of women remain free from breast cancer five years after surgery
Breast cancer is most likely to recur within the first two years if no further treatment is given and it can recur as many as 10 or 20 years after the initial diagnosis, however the risk of recurrence does decline over time.

Without knowing the size of the tumor as well as ER and PR and HER 2 status and Ki 67score of the tumor it is hard to make an estimate on the recurrance rates . In hormone negative tumors a second peak is seen after 5 years of surgery while in triple negative tumors recurrance is seldom seen after 5 years.

My comment will not answer your question but I think that at your age, presumably without current symptoms and without ongoing treatments that can give you symptoms, your attention should be directed to continue enjoying living the remaining years of your life and not be statistically concerned about recurrences. Sometimes statistics can cause unnecessary emotional stress and probably are of debatable significance in an asymptomatic patient your age. My response (perhaps controversial by some): Enjoy life and ignore numbers. ..Maurice.
