Is there a drug for patients diagnosed with Alzheimers that have reached the point of having lost those natural boundrys when it comes to expressing sexual desires? We can no longer take him in public.

My father, diagnosed with Alzheimers is in the "middle stages" and reached a point of having lost all boundries when it comes to expressing sexual desires. We can no longer take him in public for fear of him reaching out and inappropriately touching and making sexual gestures (totally not his old self). His doctor put him on low dosage of Seraquil but it has not helped with this and in fact states not to treat demenia patients. Only makes him tired and unrasponsive. What is suggested in these cases?

  • Is there no medicine to try? We have dad in a day care facility but they have their hands full keeping him active and his mind off the women.

  • Seraquil did not help at all. Neither did Paxil. Trying another - so far no help found.
