Sir,
You need to supply much more history. ( A sexual history will be important to your doctor.)
Was this the first time you had blood in the semen?
Was there any pain during ejaculation? Was there any blood in the urine? Was there any pain on urination? Was there any pain/tendeness in the testes or bladder area or back area?
Is there any history of any infection?
Was there any recent prostate problem? Was there any surgical manipulation/procedure in the genital or urinary area such as a prostate biopsy or vasectomy? Is there any history of any cancer?
Are you on any medicines such as blood thinners/anticoagulant? Do you have any bleeding disorder?.
Blood in the semen (hematospermia) may be caused by many conditions within the genitourinary system. These conditions range from a recent prostate biopsy, vasectomy, prostatitis, infections, inflammation, stones, tumors, also cancer and others.
Most of the causes of blood in the semen tend to be benign; BUT it may indicate cancer (rare).
Your doctor will need to do a thorough evaluation of your history, (also sexual history), physical examination , investigations as needed and treatment as required.
