Should parents who produce children with fatal genetic conditions be allowed to have more children?

My identical twins have Niemann Pick Type C, a fatal cholesterol metabolism disorder. It is autosomal recessive and there is a 25% chance each time I become pregnant that my child will have this condition. I have decided not to have more children but I have met other families who have decided to take the risk knowing there is a 1 in 4 chance of producing another baby with the condition.
