    I am not sure I understand your question? There are inhalers (metered dose inhalers) and nebulizers. Is the pump you are referring to the metered dose inhaler? If so, then there are no other ways to deliver albuterol except by the inhaler route (or with a nebulizer. I am sorry if I did not understand your question!

    Albuterol come in tablets as well in strengths between 2mg and 8mg along with extended release.Albuterol tablets contain albuterol sulfate, USP, the racemic form of albuterol and a relatively selective beta2-adrenergic bronchodilator.

    If you use an MDI, be sure to use the proper technique and a "chamber" when in use. If you are unsure about proper use and techniques, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or ask a respiratory therapist at your local hospital.
