Can pressure in flight induce chest pain?

I seem to get angina chest pain 60 minutes from landing (ie just when we start descending gradually). I need to stand, or walk to reduce it. Tylenol helps. Could pressure change be bringing this on?

What you wrote in your Medpedia "My Profile" is probably more informative ("I had my first bypass in 1996, at least 3 angioplasties since. I now get chest pain quite badly when I travel - on flight and walking."). If the current chest pain is familiar but a recent recurrence, your cardiologist should be promptly notified. Yes, diminished oxygen levels and increased oxygen consumption can precipitate the angina (coronary insufficiency) symptom. ..Maurice.
