    Airplanes are extremely high risk factors for influenza. Studies have shown that over 50% of passengers may be infected on an airplane when there is only one individual on board with active influenza. Take this into account as well as the apparent higher lethality of swine-origin H1N1 virus for children.

    You might better ask to explain the risk of H1N1 in a 3 month old who is flying; how many stops; what can be done to decrease the risk; did the mother get the H1N1 vaccine; did the infant receive the vaccine; did the infant breastfeed (transfer of passive immunity), etc
