What is the best course of Vegetarian South Indian Diet for Type II Diabetes?

presently under medication with Diapride Forte (thrice daily before meal), Zincovit (One daily at the time of meal). Recently started Glucobay 50 mg one at bedtime (but discontinued due to stomach filling sensation and pain inside upper abdomen as if gas is filled pushing upwards of the stomach). Tried with reduced dosage of 25 mg of Glucobay one at bedtime. Difference is yet to be seen.

Basically, you want to limit or reduce drastically the amount of rice that usually accompanies this type of diet. Rice is abundant in carbohydrates which will then convert quickly to glucose within your body, thus raising your blood sugars.
As far as stomach problems are concerned, if you have had T1DM or iRS(type 2 Diabetes) for a long period of time >15 years the risk of getting Gastroparesis will increase.
Some of the symptoms are early satiety(fullness) and bloating.
Eat more vegetables and eliminate the rice or have very little. Drink hot tea or water with your meals and exercise frequently.
