Can herbal sex enhancing drugs cause erectile dysfunction?

A friend took a sex enhancing capsule and about 20 hours later, had a few bottles of beer, but has not had a full erection since then. Is it possible for the drug to be the cause or is it just psychological?

My question for you is why in the world does a 24y/o male need to experiment with sex enhancing drugs??? (God, I wish I was 24 again)
Do you know that cardiovascular disease can show up as an inability to get and maintain an erection years before you have outward signs of cardiac disease.
    STOP taking this stuff!

Herbal sex enhancing drugs may contain any substance, sometimes impurities. They are not usually routinely regulated by health regulatory agencies. These herbal sex enhancing drugs may not even work as intended. They may cause all kinds of undesirable side-effects and unwanted interactions/reactions with other medicines and drugs. At times they may precipitate fatal reactions and consequences.
They may precipitate/cause/aggravate medical and mental conditions. The physical/mental reaction of the body may have produced an experience which may have led to fear in your friend. Alcohol or any psychoactive drug should not be combined with any substance/herb with out a medical professional approval. There are so many herbal products, which claim effectiveness in sexual enhancement without any supporting scientific evidence.
Your friend should seek medical advice and reassurance from a health care professional.
