Has anyone here studied Wheat Germ Agglutinin (WGA), and if so, what can you tell me about it?

I have been researching this tricky little lectin and have been suprised to find that it is implicated as being a primary causal factor in the pathogenesis of celiac disease, gluten sensitivity and a variety of autoimmune disorders. If anyone out there has any more data, I would be very excited to hear it. Also, if you find the time please read the article I posted to this group on Wheat Lectin, and let me know if it sparks any new thoughts or directions. I'm just amazed that there isn't more written on the subject, considering how powerful this little chemical is. Thanks!
