Asthma With Cold Symptoms

I am an asthmatic and for the last couple of months I feel I have a very mild cold with a blocked nose and phlegm in my throat that I continually need to clear. I have had an allergy test which came back normal. Does anyone have any idea as to why I have this feeling of a constant cold?

Asthma , allergies, rhinitis ( nasal congestion and irritation of the nose), sinusitis, postnasal drips and colds , tend to go together. Sometimes, a nasal polyp ( a small, harmless growth in the nasal passageway) is present.
Allergy testing tests for common known allergens. So a normal allergy test does not mean that you do not have allergies.
