What are the side effects of taking naturopathic pills and high blood pressure meds together?

Are there negative side effects associated with taking Vegetal Silica (400mg/day) and high blood pressure meds (Ramipril 5mg/day & Hydrocholothiazide 25mg/day)?

I am not familiar with Vegetal Silica?
It would depend on what this product contains- any stimulants (caffeine, ephedra & others) &/or diuretics, or sodium, could present problems.
If this is a vegetable fiber product- than fiber taken with the pressure Rxs, may change the effect, by changing absorption, of the meds.
    Hope this helps.

Silica is used as a mineral in Homeopathic Medicine..........so it follows the laws of treating Illness with substance/substances that are similar to what the condition presents itself.
These "homeopathic medicines" are usually ground up and then diluted so as to achieve an extremely tiny size that represents the substance itself.
In my understanding of Silica with relation to medications that are use to treat Hypertension
I have not found any contradictions. However, you should always relay this information about
what you plan to do and questions that you have with your PCP or Cardiologist.
It is known however, that Homeopaths recommend that anyone with implants or artificial body components avoid silica because of its tendency to cause foreign materials to be expelled from the body.

I can't think of any obvious contraindications or interactions for this product (assuming that its purity is reliable) with the blood pressure medications you mentioned (or any other medication).
