answered Mar 16, 2010 at 02:45PMyes, stress tests are performed on many individuals with heart conditions and vascular conditions. They do not need to be treadmill test. They can chemically perform a stress test if the risk of a cardiac event is too high.-
Thank you Gerry for your answer,sorry it took me so long on top of all my problems ive been hit with a bout of diverticulitis- I was concerned as a its been 7 years since my dissection and heart valve were repaired and have been taking beta blockers with 3 other medications for blood pressure control to preserve whats left of a chronic dissection -had some chest pain from a specific medication but the er md suggested
