About me
I am 37 years-old and a stepmother of two teenagers. I work fulltime and have been a caregiver for my now 98 year-old grandmother for 12 years. The first five years she lived alone in her apartment. I shopped, paid bills and did light cleaning for her. For the last seven years my grandmother has suffered with Dementia. During the early stages of Dementia she lived in a nursing home. For the last five years, grandma has lived with us.
Why I participate in Medpedia
To share my experiences as a caregiver. It is my hope to be an encouragement to others.
