About me
I am CEO of a media company that develops and produces online, television and print-based content for cancer families. Our first website, BreastCancerSisterhood.com, is a survivorship resource for women, husbands/caregivers, children/teens, from point of diagnosis, to finding their new normal after treatment. BRENDA'S BLOG is a Top 10 Breast Cancer Blog on the Internet, plus we have 100 original videos especially created for each family member. In addition, I am a breast cancer survivor, was caregiver to my late husband who died of cancer and was a child when my father died of cancer. I know what cancer families need.
Why I participate in Medpedia
Medpedia is a resource designed to collect credible data and advance health and medical knowledge in a variety of fields. As a breast cancer survivor whose had 10 breast cancer surgeries and eight rounds of chemotherapy, I understand what women and their families are going through and can offer survivorship skills designed to empower and inform each member of the breast cancer family, from point of diagnosis to finding your new normal when treatment is over.
