I have worked in different capacities ranging from medical officer in clinics and hospitals to health section manager, national program manager, technical advisor, etc. within Afghanistan’s government, NGOs and UN agencies. I have higher education in epidemiology and management of infectious diseases, experience with MoPH and more than 10 year experience of working with international NGOs, UN and MoPH system, I have good skills of health management, working independently as well as with teams, M & E budgeting, information about child protection and UNCRC, report writing, familiarity with BPHS, etc. Please find attached my CV in order to have further information about my previous performances/experiences background.

 To Support the Cordaid Kabul Interim Liaison Officer in implementation of Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) projects.  Through regular consultations and coaching at the higher levels to the management of partner organization, contribute towards the technical and organizational soundness of this project.  Though specific capacity building activities assist nutrition staff, CHWS and other senior staff who are focal to this project on improving their competencies for project implementation.  Facilitate project implementers in their efforts to improve on the ability of their staff and systems to monitor progress adequately and produce progress reports in high quality.

Senior Program Officer and then Technical Advisor

 Focal point and coordinator for Community-Based Education (CBE) in MoE.  Mentor and build capacity of selected MoE staff as counterpart in CBE.  Work closely with Provincial Liaison Officer and guide them to implement policy.  Facilitate the finalization process of CBE policy in the ministry.  Assist with formally recognizing CBE teachers who fulfill minimum qualifications to be on the MoE payroll.  Guide implementing partners to develop minimum standards for CBE initiatives.

 Raised awareness about disability in provincial government staff, NGOs, private sectors working for disabled people through designing appropriate training sessions and implementing them.  Advised in the design of an inclusive program at the provincial level.  Established and contributed in technical working groups between NGOs, UN agencies and government staff related to disabilities.  Implemented monitoring and reporting process for progress of jobs related to disability activities.  Contributed to the development of the proposal and planning process for the donor.

National Malaria & Leishmaniasis COntrol Program Manager

 Supervised a staff of 150.  Ensured the implementation of national malaria and leishmaniasis control programme according to international and national recognised guidelines and policies.  Facilitated and coordinated the co-operation of NMLCP activities with relevant stakeholders, donors and departments of the MoPH.  Regularly reviewed and revised national policies and guidelines regarding VBDC according to situation analysis, new evidence and recommendations.  Planned/ revised, coordinated and implemented the consolidated national multi-year strategic VBDC plan.  Budgeted VBDC strategic plan and coordinated mobilisation of funds from internal sources and external donors.  Monitored and evaluated all VBDC activities in the country in cooperation with the MoPH M&E unit.
