I'm a 36 year old physician in Akron, Ohio that practices pulmonary, crtical care, and sleep medicine (board eligible) in a large, single-specialty group. We have 15 physicians total. Seven of us are at one hospital (Akron General Meidcal Center) where we see pulmonary consults on the floor, office patients, run the hyperbaric medicine program, run the Sleep Medicine Center, and run the ICU 24 hours a day with one of us there at all times. We also are very involved in clinical research, medical education with our IM, FP, ER, and Genral Surgery residents, and hopital administrative roles.
