I teach medical microbiology at FSU College of Medcine and serve as Assistant Dean for Faculty Development. Prior to my appointment at Tallahassee in 2009, I taught medical microbiology and medical laboratory methods/problem solving at Indiana University School of Medicine for 17 years. I also served as statewide Director for Problem Solving Competency at Indiana. I continue my research in competency-based medical education and ePortfolio evaluation of student learning.
