I have been a professor of medicine at the Universities of Illinois, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Colorado Have directed Renal Disease Divisions at Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago and University of Cincinnati. DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS: 1968 - 1991, a major effort was undertaken to develop a new information system to improve medical care, teaching, and research. From 1991 to date, effort has been devoted full-time to the advancement and implementation of the latest version of new information systems for medicine, making use of the latest information technology.
