Professional summary
I am the scientific founder and CEO of Prolexys Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering small molecule drugs that act at novel therapeutic targets. The Company’s therapeutic focus is on cancer and cardiovascular indications. We have utilized proteomics-related techniques to identify drug candidates that interact with targets of interest. The result of targeted drug discovery work at Prolexys is a pipeline of product candidates. Lead programs include: a) PRLX 93936 small molecule clinical candidate that shows selective lethality towards tumor cells, including those with activated RAS pathway. This compound is currently in Phase I clinical trial. b) the colon cancer program with novel small molecule compounds targeting the beta-catenin signaling cascade and c) HSP20 antagonists, identified as protein interaction inhibitors from targets validated in asthma and vasorelaxation.
