I have practiced internal medicine since my residency at Los Angeles County Hospital 1959-1963 and currently am Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at U.S.C, Keck School of Medicine facilitating first and second year "Introduction to Clinical Medicine". I am a member but also former chair of the hospital ethics committee of Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, CA. I moderate a bioethics blog "Bioethics Discussion Blog" http://bioethicsdiscussion.blogspot.com since July 2004 which currently has a total of over 800 topics regardng ethical issues in medical practice, medical systems and medical education all open to discussion by the public.
