About me
I am 50 year old mother of 4. 28,21,10,8 and 1 3 yr old grandchild. Myself and my 21 yr old child has celiac disease and 2 others have the gene. I was diagnosed 9 years ago after being sick for 12 years. My 21 yr old is in denial and only eats gluten free when he is around me. I worry about him. We live in a very small community in the Colorado Mountains. I work for the local County Treasurer's office. My husband, myself and four children are Colorado Natives.
Why I participate in Medpedia
I am open to learning new things that can help myself and children with this issue. Living where we do good knowledgeable health care is about 1 1/2 hours away. Buying gluten free food is also difficult where we live.
