I was in charge of vaccine research at WHO from 1987 to 1999. I am an internist with a particular experience in vaccinology (research, development, vaccine safety and vaccination policies). I am the director of the Advanced Course of Vaccinology (ADVAC) and chair of the Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative SC.
