About me
I am a medical writer and breast cancer survivor. In 2007, I retired from my position as a college professor and administrator to focus on medical writing. My motive: I was diagnosed with hormone-negative breast cancer and faced a steep learning curve about a disease I had not known existed. Once I did my research, I decided to share it with other women who were faced with a confusing and frightening diagnosis.
Why I participate in Medpedia
I would like to help women understand all forms of hormone negative breast cancer, including triple negative, and give them hope rather than terror. I will be using the resources in my blog, Positives About Negative, at hormonenegative.blogspot.com.
